Hon. Carlota M. Böhm is a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania, appointed on November 28, 2011. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and her J.D. from Duquesne University in 1979. Before joining the bench, Judge Bohm practiced bankruptcy law for nearly three decades, including serving as a bankruptcy attorney at Houston Harbaugh P.C. (1992–2011) and as a bankruptcy specialist at Schaffler & Bohm (1981–1992). Early in her career, she also clerked for Judge Joseph Cosetti and Judge Bernhard Schaffler.
