James M. McArdle is an attorney with Hladik, Onorato & Federman, LLP in Troy, Mich., and has represented debtors, Fortune 500 companies, banks, credit unions and other creditors in consumer and commercial bankruptcy, as well as chapter 7 trustees. He has handled cases in chapters 7, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 15, and has represented clients in civil litigation in state courts. Mr. McArdle is licensed to practice in Illinois and Michigan, and he is admitted in the federal courts for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Western District of Wisconsin, the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He previously was a senior counsel with Strobl & Sharp, P.C. and ran his own law practice for more than two years. Mr. McArdle received his undergraduate degrees in Spanish and philosophy in 1983 from the University of Illinois Urbana-Chapaign, his Master’s in Spanish language and literature in 1986 from the University of Iowa, and his J.D. in 1989 from DePaul University College of Law.
